CIPP

CIPP or ” Cured In Pipe Replacement” is a revolutionary way to repair existing cast iron pipe lines without all the property damage and at a fraction of the cost. It can be used in most pipe lines ranging in diameter from .01 Meters  – 2.8 Meters ( 4″-110″) and can be used for water, sewer, gas, and even chemical pipelines.

Most homes built before the 1970’s have cast iron piping.  Anything built after that most likely has pvc pipes. Its been used for decades and is  overall a durable pipe system- its main issue however- is the oxidation process that occurs in it.  When cast iron pipes carry various forms of liquids and wastes a chemical reaction occurs and hydrogen sulfide gasses begin to form. Once the gases begin to oxidize it takes the form of corrosive sulfuric acid. The acid then begins to rust and eat away at the pipes from the inside out cause the pipes to flake up and clog.

This is the point where most people begin to throw acidic drain clearing products, which only accelerates the deterioration process. Leading to a new pipe needing to be installed. This is where CIPP comes in.

We begin by inspecting the pipes with a camera to find the source of the blockages and damage. We then determine what parts of the pipe system need to be replaced and then proceed to flush out and cleanse it before we begin the CIPP process.

The pipe size and location will determine what type of resin and material will be used. At that point an estimate will be given and the process explained and broken down step by step. We want you to be confident in this decision so we back our pipe replacements for 5 years.

  • The entire process takes 3 to 4 days.
  • Prices start at around $80- $120 a linear foot.
  • CIPP tends to have a 50 year life span on its own.
  • We can also help you work with your insurance since its covered by most insurance companies.
